Heroic Hearts Project UK (HHPUK) is an organisation that connects military and emergency services veterans struggling with mental trauma to psychedelic therapy retreats around the world. These veterans typically have tried all the available resources offered by the NHS and other veterans' charities with limited success, leaving them with very few options. We are raising awareness within the veteran and emergency services’ communities of powerful plant therapies like psychedelics, with the aim of ending society’s excessive dependence on pharmaceuticals to treat mental traumas.

Originally set up for US war veterans over three years ago, the UK arm of Heroic Hearts only launched in March of this year. Despite still being in our infancy, we are looking to grow awareness of who we are and what we offer rapidly, as the so-called ‘psychedelic renaissance’ continues to gather momentum.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic intern to help us improve and develop our UK website built using, as we move towards HHPUK gaining official charitable status in the new year. You will need to have a drive for quality web design, natural creative flair and passion for content creation. You will be joining a close-knit team of passionate individuals who care deeply and personally for the cause, so it is really important that anyone joining us is aligned with our goals around driving cultural change through drug policy reform and tackling the stigma around psychedelics.
